I grew up with my Mom and Sister in Greenville, SC, and was raised in a Christian home. Sports were always a huge part of my family, so I picked up soccer in middle school and ran with it. I came to Gardner-Webb to play soccer, but after my Freshman year, through concussions and a lot of other events, I knew God was calling me away from it, so I took a leap of faith and trusted that He actually knew what He was up to, and that He actually was who He said He was. In the meantime, God was working to bring something new. A friend of mine randomly gave me access to the Adobe Creative Cloud and I was hooked. I found a passion for creativity, and started pursuing photography, videography, graphic design, and any other sort of creativity more and more. In the midst of having one passion taken away, God was bringing up something I had never known I had, and developing in me a talent that only He could give me. If you had told me in high school that this is where I would be, I'm not sure I would've believed you. I graduated from Gardner-Webb with a degree in Psychology in December of 2018 and came on staff here at HCC immediately after. I am so excited to be at a place where the name of Jesus is made famous in new and creative ways.
My Hope for HCC
My hope for HCC is that the gospel would be proclaimed boldly and creatively, and that God alone would be glorified. I'm so excited that I get to play a small part in helping people far from God find hope in God through the gifts God has given me.
