I was born and raised "across the river" right outside of Boiling Springs, NC. I grew up attending church and made a decision for Christ at a young age. I knew I believed in Jesus and that he was my savior, but it wasn't until much later that I really started truly walking with Him and having a real relationship with the Lord. I graduated from Crest High in 2003 and from UNC Charlotte in 2008 with a degree in Middle Grades Math and Science Education. I absolutely loved that age and wanted to make a difference in their lives! I got married my senior year of college to my husband Terry and we have a great little girl, Savannah Mae!, who keeps us on our toes. Shortly after she was born we started attending Hope Community Church and fell in love with the community here. I spent 11 pretty awesome years working with some amazing students, but felt the Lord calling me to step out in faith and trust Him as he lead me in a different direction (which at the time I had no idea what that was)!! I am really excited to work here at HCC with our worship leaders and guest experiences.
