Buddy Ministry
The Hope Buddies ministry provides individuals with disabilities, learning differences, or behavioral needs a one-on-one support person (a buddy) so they can fully participate in the life of the church.
A buddy removes barriers that might otherwise keep someone from experiencing worship, fellowship, and discipleship. Each child’s needs are unique. Some may benefit from a buddy’s support every week, while others may only need help in certain situations. Buddies are encouraged to be flexible, adjusting their support to best meet the needs of the individual child.
Buddies provide individualized support, adapting their help to fit the needs, strengths, and personality of their assigned friend. Ultimately, buddies help communicate one central truth: God’s unfailing, unconditional love for each person and their family.
Buddy Ministry Mission:

Being a buddy is not about
having special training—it’s
about being a disciple who
makes disciples.
By showing Christ’s love through
friendship, safety, participation,
communication, encouragement,
and faith, you are helping
someone know and follow Jesus
more deeply.
Hope Buddies is more than a
ministry—it is a calling to share
God’s love with all.
